Last week we found ourselves in two very unusual venues: JVA Limburg and JVA Butzbach, two working prisons in Germany.
No lights, no stage haze, no bar at the back… just us, the music, and a room full of men who don’t often get to feel that kind of freedom.
It was heavy at times, but also incredibly human. You could feel the walls drop for a moment, smiles, clapping, even a few tears from the most toughest looking guys out there.

Music does that. It connects, no matter where you are or what you’ve done.
We’re deeply thankful to the organisation, staff and everyone involved for making it happen, and honored that they’ve asked us to come back next year!

Some shows stay with you long after the amps are off.
